Training given at our Chamber is carried out in two channels. The first one is the training given to our members, and the second one is the training of our own personnel.
Training Programs for Members
Training programs intended for our members are organized on the basis of the needs of especially the vocational committees. Various vocational programs, technical, operational and foreign language training are custom-designed. In 2007 and 2008 various training programs were designed for different sectors including real estate consultants, shoe manufacturers and tourism operators. All requests from our committees are taken into consideration. Different training requests are also considered within the framework of Vocational Training School Project.
Foreign Trade Trainings
Our Chamber organizes various Foreign Trade Courses for the purpose of increasing foreign trade potential of our members, to providing them with information about foreign trade transactions together with educating qualified personnel for the sector.
Certificate Program on Foreign Trade Expertise
"Certificate Program on Foreign Trade Expertise" is organized by collaboration of our Chamber and Izmir University of Economics Continuous Education Center (EKOSEM) for those who want to make a carrier in foreign trade as well as personnel of companies active in this field.
Exporter Training Program
Exporter Training Program is intended for our members who are new in foreign trade and covers training and consultancy services. The participants are given 20 hours of "Basic Foreign Trade Course" and 20 hours of "Basic English Cource for Foreign Trade" as well as target market research support. The courses are given in collaboration with Izmir University of Economics Continuous Education Center (EKOSEM).
Foreign Trade Days
A "Foreign Trade Days" program covering 8 seminars is being organized to provide our members with information on various issues related to foreign trade.
Training Programs for The Chamber Staff
Trainings of our own personnel is programmed on the basis of annual plans according to needs and continues throughout the year intensifying in autumn and spring months. The need for Foreign language training is also met by our Chamber for our own personnel as long as they successfully continue the training.
