The Public Research Center was founded as a unit of "Information and Documentation Department" in Izmir Chamber of Commerce in April 2007. The aim of this center is defined as conducting researches on social, political and economic issues according the needs of Izmir Chamber of Commerce and the public of Izmir and Turkey; doing pre-studies, collecting data in the field or in literature according the aims of research, analyzing data, reporting the results and forwarding to directorship, concerned departments and enterprises.
Since this center established;

61.830 face to face interviews were held
815 telephone interviews were held
65.036 surveys were applied
In these research projects;
359 people worked as an interviewer and
29 people worked as a supervisor.
